This is the Privacy Policy of Amvizo. Amvizo is a trade name of Exentury, a registered business in The Netherlands (under Dutch Chamber of Commerce number 57890544). The Privacy Policy addresses data Amvizo collects and uses, including personal data that identifies you, such as your name, email address or invoice information. We keep the amount of personal data we process to a bare minimum.
We take thorough measures to protect the personal data we have about you, and will not sell it to third parties.
Amvizo provides a website that can be reached via www.amvizo.com. Among other things, the hardware product Surround Engine can be purchased on the website. The website is hosted in Germany and protected by strict European and German privacy legislation. Information may also be stored on secure company servers in the Netherlands. Some information is used by our payments providers and accountants, who comply with the EU GDPR directive.

This Privacy Policy is applicable to and provides information on the processing by Amvizo of personal data of customers and anyone who contacts Amvizo.
Purposes for processing personal data
We process personal data for various purposes. These purposes and the personal data processed for them are the following:
- Shipping a purchased product
If you purchase a product from our website, we need your contact details to complete the transaction and ship your product to you.
We process your name, email address, your shipping address, payment information (e.g. your bank account number, PayPal number or the last four digits of your credit card), and the date of your order. We do not process any other payment information ourselves. For payments, we use the services of the payments provider Mollie. For their applicable terms and conditions (including privacy policy), please refer to www.mollie.com. We use a commercial courier (such as DHL or PostNL) for shipping. We share your name and shipping address information with the selected carrier. Their terms and conditions (including privacy policy) apply to their service.
Your data for “shipping a purchased product” will be deleted from our systems once you request the deletion of that data. - Resolving hardware defects covered by the warranty
If there is a problem with a purchased product, we want to solve it as best as possible. For warranty claims, we keep track of which product it concerns and who bought that product.
We process your name, email address, address, the purchase date and the device identifier number of your Surround Engine.
Your data for “resolving hardware defects covered by the warranty” will be deleted from our systems once you request the deletion of that data. - Notification of software updates
We would like to keep you updated of software updates for Surround Engine by email. Software updates may provide bug fixes, improvements or new features.
We process your name, gender (if provided) and your email address.
We keep this personal data for as long as you wish to receive information about software updates. If you do not wish to receive such e-mails, you can unsubscribe by requesting this in a reply e-mail. - Answering questions and/or (technical) support
For questions you can contact us via our website, e-mail, telephone or WhatsApp. We use your personal data to answer your question(s).
We process your name, your contact information, your correspondence with Amvizo about your question and all other personal data you provide us with and which is required to answer your question, which may include the device identifier number of your Surround Engine.
Your data for “answering questions and/or (technical) support” will be deleted from our systems once you request the deletion of that data. - Marketing and events
At times, we may offer special deals or (demonstration) events.
We process only the information that you provide us, which may or may not include date of birth, gender, address and any other relevant personal data you provide us with.
Your data for “marketing and events” will be deleted from our systems once you request the deletion of that data. - Statistics
Our websites collects statistics on the usage. This includes visited pages, source, duration and other analytical information. Such data is collected and stored by Google. - Accounting
We keep all invoices we send to keep our accounts in a legal manner. This may include personal data.
We process your name, address, VAT number, Chamber of Commerce number, order(s) and date of orders.
Your personal data for “accounting” will be deleted from our systems once you request the deletion of that data, unless this prohibits us from meeting a legal obligation. For example, Dutch tax law obliges companies to keep outgoing invoices for 7 years. We do not process all of this data ourselves. For accounting, data is processed by SIEL, according to their Data Processing Agreement.
Third party access
Amvizo uses third parties for certain services, such as shipping, website hosting, payments processing and website analytics. All these parties comply with the EU’s GDPR directive. These parties include:

- Google (Analytics)
- Strato (Hosting)
- Mollie (Payments)
- Klarna (Payments)
- PayPal (Payments)
- SIEL (Accounting)
Only if Amvizo is required to do so by law, your personal data will be provided to supervisory agencies, fiscal authorities and investigative agencies.
